Tinker Bell or Tinker Bill?

Since there is much to be debated on the gender of this flying wonder, I will refer to Tink as It.
Here it is making the amazing trip from the top of Matterhorn Mountain, to her landing platform in fantasy land. There are all kinds of stories concerning the identity of tink. Some say that Tink is a definately a she and that she comes from a long line of women in a specific family that has dominated the role since the opening of the park. Others say that Tink is a man and that he would have to be in order to be heavy enough to pull it off physically. Some say that there are two different tinks, one is a robot and the other is a person. Perhaps the world will never know the truth.
This picture confirms that Tink was at one time, a woman. Since in most of the live presentations of Peter Pan, the boy who never wanted to grow up was played by a woman, it wouldn't be a problem to me if Tink was a man....

Picture #115, excellent job KR

Born in 1924, in Vancouver, Bristish Columbia, the family moved to Los Angeles during the great Depression. At the young age of 10, Sam spent time working in Hollywood as an extra. At 18, Sam enlisted in the military and after a 14 month duty with the U.S. Army, he returned to Los Angeles to attend the Chouinard Art Institute. Sam began working for Disney in 1954 creating sketches for Disney's new theme park. In the course of the next 32 years, Sam's magical touch would reach every land inside Disneyland. Long known as the master map maker, Sam was the primary Disneyland souvernir map creator from 1958 to 1964. Sam's presence and endearing smile are present at many Disney events and his artwork is often displayed at the Disney Gallery.
In 1996, Sam McKim was named a Disney Legend.
This is over by the place where you pick up pictures that they take of you at the park. Sam McKim was the man that did all of the original drawings of disneyland.

JCoen, JoLcn;, Jocye, Joyce, Joceyn, and Jocelyn

Thanks for all of the wonderful participation and entertainment. The reason you may feel funny about pointing out the mickeys is because, once again, you need to tell us where in disneyland the picture was taken, not where in the picture the mickey is found. On these golden 50 mickeys, the location is almost as obvious, however a little more meaningful. Keep it up, and try to slow down a little when you type your name, it may help:) ( maybe it is easier to just type JEXY!)

Star Tours

This ride is classic. I know that half of the family can't stand to ride it, but I still think that it is a blast. Nothing like touring the galaxy in a giant space mini van from the 80's...
